What you need to move into an RV park

Four things: proof of insurance, a valid ID, a valid credit card, and your signature on the park rules and conditions. There is no deposit, and the first month is prorated from the day you move in.

The four things to have ready

None of these is unusual, and none of them is a credit check on your life. They exist so that the park knows who is in a space and that the rig in it is covered.

  1. Proof of insurance. It is the one item people do not already have in the glovebox, and it is the one that holds up a move-in.
  2. A valid ID. A government-issued photo ID. Standard, and quick if you have it on you.
  3. A valid credit card. On file as part of setting you up. Rent instructions are handled directly, not through this website.
  4. Signing the park rules and conditions. The rules are short and they are the agreement — pets, quiet hours, guests, and parking are all in there.

What day one costs

There is no deposit , and the first month is prorated from your move-in date. If you arrive on the eighteenth, you are paying for the part of the month you are actually here, not for the whole of it. It makes moving in mid-month a normal thing to do rather than an expensive one.

What to bring for the hookup

This part is not a park requirement — it is what makes the first evening go smoothly instead of ending with a drive to find a fitting. On a 30 amp space, the adapter is the item that catches people out. Bring a 30-to-50 amp adapter. On 50 amp, plugs straight in for most rigs.

  • Your sewer hose and fittings. Bring your own; every space has the connection, not the hose.
  • A drinking-water hose, and a pressure regulator if you use one.
  • A surge protector. General RV advice rather than park policy, and cheaper than the converter it protects.
  • Leveling blocks and chocks. The pads are gravel and caliche, not poured slabs.

Before you tow in

Two things are worth settling on the phone rather than in the driveway. First, whether a space is open — there are 24 of them in the whole park. Second, whether the rig fits: the limit is 60 feet long, and every space is back-in, so give yourself daylight for the arrival.

Questions about moving in

Do you take a deposit?

No deposit. The first month is prorated from the day you move in, so what you pay on day one reflects the days you actually get.

What do I need to have with me?

Proof of insurance, a valid ID, a valid credit card, and signing the park rules and conditions. That is the whole list.

Do I really need RV insurance?

Yes — proof of insurance is required to move in. It is also the item most people have to go and find, so sort it before the tow rather than at the gate.

Do I need an adapter?

On a 30 amp space, yes. Bring a 30-to-50 amp adapter. A 50 amp space plugs straight in for most rigs.

How far ahead should I call?

There is no posted lead time, and we would rather not invent one. There are 24 spaces in the whole park, so availability is genuinely worth a phone call before you make the drive.

Call before you tow. We will tell you what is open, which amp tier suits the rig, and what to have with you when you arrive.
