Monthly RV spaces near Stanton, Texas

We are 22 miles southwest of Stanton — about half an hour, most of it on I-20. Monthly spaces only, with water, electric, and sewer in the rate.

The drive, with the numbers

22 miles, about half an hour. 15 of those miles are I-20, which is the part that matters: it is the difference between a commute you stop noticing and one you start resenting. You come down the interstate, turn off southeast of Midland onto Highway 158, and the last stretch is county road.

That figure was checked, not remembered. It is a road-mile measurement to the park's own map pin, run twice through separate mapping data, and rounded up rather than down — because a drive time you read on a website is a promise somebody keeps at six in the morning. The directions page has the address and the map.

Why a Stanton hand would make that drive

Martin County produces more crude oil than any other county in Texas. Not the most in the Permian — the most in Texas, with Midland County second, month after month, in the Railroad Commission's production figures. If you are working out of Stanton, you are working in the busiest patch in the state, and there are not many places to put a rig in a town that size.

Plain about it: if your work is all in Martin County and you can get a space in Stanton, take it. Half an hour of nothing beats half an hour of I-20. Where we make sense is when your work is split — some days north in Martin County, some days south or east of Midland — and you would rather sit in the middle of it than at one end.

What you would be moving into

24 spaces, fenced and gated, gravel and caliche pads, every one back-in. $400 a month at 30 amp — bring a 30-to-50 amp adapter — or $450 at 50 amp, which plugs straight in for most rigs. water, electric, and sewer are in the rate either way.

No deposit. The first month is prorated from the day you pull in. Details on sites and hookups and rates.

If the company is placing the crew

We invoice companies directly. Minimum 30 days, yearly terms available, and one address for a crew that is working both sides of the county line. The crew housing page has the terms.

Questions from the Stanton side

How far is the park from Stanton?

22 miles — about half an hour, with 15 of those miles on I-20. The last few run out Highway 158 southeast of Midland.

Do you take nightly or weekly stays?

No. Monthly stays only, and the shortest term is 30 days. If you need a few nights, you need a motel, not us.

Is electric included, or is it metered?

Included. One flat monthly rate covers water, electric, and sewer, so an August of running the AC costs the same as a mild October.

Can my company pay for spaces for a crew working out of Martin County?

Yes. A company can be invoiced directly, and the minimum is 30 days. Yearly terms are available as well.

What does a month cost?

$400 for a 30 amp space and $450 for a 50 amp space, water, electric, and sewer included. No deposit, and the first month is prorated from the day you move in.

Will my rig fit?

Pads take up to 60 feet long and 20 feet wide, slide-outs in or out, and every space is back-in.
